This month, I am beginning the biggest adventure of my teenage (or end of my teenage) years. This "Grand Adventure" will include studying/living abroad in Sevilla, Spain, traveling Europe, and possibly living in Alaska for the summer... but I'll get to that last part later.
The first stop on my trip was Ireland. My mom and I planned to spend five to six days exploring the magical land of my ancestors and reconnect with a long lost friend. But as we all know, things change. My mom recently contracted Lyme Disease, and it has taken a toll on her body. The last thing I wanted to do was to was for her condition to worsen due to the stress of travel. Since we made this decision to postpone Ireland for a later date, my mom's health has vastly improved and she is on the homestretch to recovery. So for that I am immensely grateful. Also I can take this time to prepare for what lies ahead... Like, study Spanish.
Things do not always happen the way we want them to, but everything happens for a reason and usually end up for the better.
Enough about that. Here are some of my favorite things I've wandered upon this week. Enjoy!
I've been going through a Swedish design phase and I don't know if it's going to end...
